Synopsis
Mork find's Exidor's mother, Princess Lusitania, who promptly chains herself to Mindy's counter in protest of Exidor's wedding to Ambrosia.
Plot
In "Exidor's Wedding", expectant groom Exidor (Robert Donner) far more nervous than the bride, Ambrosia Malspar (Georgia Engel), especially after the unexpected arrival of his equally eccentric mother, Princess Lusitania (Anita Dangler, previously a different character in "Mork's HEALTH Hints"). She apparently lost track of her son when she lost her memory and was cared for by Indians, chaining herself to a post in Mindy's apartment in response to his upcoming nuptials ("is she leaving?" "not exactly" "she's staying?" "exactly!").
Having missed out on motherhood, she's determined to have her son all to herself now, staying in Mindy's bedroom as Remo and Nelson drop by for a bachelor party. Exidor brings in a stag film which naturally turns out to be an empty reel, though Mork admits it leaves you wanting more! Nelson conducts the ceremony in Mork's attic room, while the sound of dragging chains forces Ambrosia to level with Exidor: "there comes a time when a son has to cut the cord, even if he needs a hacksaw to do it!" The honeymoon's over pretty quick since we never see Ambrosia or Princess Lusitania again in future episodes.
